Our Story

Elliott’s Best has one simple mission, to produce the finest all natural dog biscuits possible. Our biscuits are hand made in small batches with simple all natural ingredients. They are so pure that even dog owners can eat them . . . that is if your favorite four legged family member doesn’t eat them all first.

Our story is a simple one. Elliott, our Goldendoodle, became a member of our family three years ago during a very uncertain time in the world. One thing became clear very early on though, we loved spending every moment at home with our Elliott.

As Elliott grew from a puppy into an adult dog , we quickly discovered that he was starting to develop a number of food allergies that were manifesting in the form of skin rashes and gastrointestinal issues. The truth is that many dog food and treat brands claim to be “giving your dog the best” but they really aren’t. Just like Elliott, many dogs these days are sensitive to the low-cost protein sources and additives that are present in many brands of food and treats. At the advice of our trusted veterinarian (who also happens to be our daughter), we started on the long quest to find higher quality additive-free treats to reward our good boy. Let us be the first ones to tell you that it is near impossible to find a dog treat that contains zero additives, preservatives, color stabilizers, sugar or salts to boost flavor. This is where the idea for Elliott’s Best was born.

Our handmade small batch treats use only the finest natural ingredients. Our eggs and honey are sourced from local Maine farmers. The non-gmo whole wheat flour and oats are grown and processed in New England. We then mill our own oats for consistency. Even our peanut butter is just roasted and ground peanuts. Elliott’s Best is processed without any preservatives or additives of any kind. They are naturally flavorful and healthy biscuits free from all added sugars and salts.
